Titans won the toss and put himalayan to bat in wet and damp conditions.
Ram & Chandresh started off well to take care of the uneven bounce, low or no bounce and the damp conditions. Himalayan put 14 runs in first 6 overs going lil over 2 on run-rate and lost a wicket. Chandresh was first one to go. Srini and Ram continued the innings into the first break with 38/1 in 16 overs. We lost our second wicket at 50 runs on board in 20'th over. Sudheer joined ram in the center. Sudheer trying to go for a second run got out to a direct throw. Deepak joined ram and the fun begins.. Deepak, testing his new bat smacked the first four of the innings coming at 28'th or 29'th over. From here we lost quick wickets in ram, vijay, ramana, lali and aashay trying to accelarate the score. This brings Murtaza & sarfaraz in. Murtaza, playing his very first league game started off cautiously and went on to display the range of shots he has. On the other end sarfaraz with his trade mark game stuck to crease inclined to torture the bowlers but unfortunately got out to a fullish delivery on the stumps. 109/10 in 39.5 overs is a good score in these conditions to pull an upset on the favorites, titans.
Titans innings was a complete wash, pretty much an expected one and as predicted by our team's weather man.
